Trust model

The goal is controlled usefulness, not unlimited answers

A client-facing AI Assistant should not pretend to know everything. It should know what it has been given, answer within a defined scope, show sources when useful, and stop when the question belongs to a human expert.

Expert-owned knowledge

Uploaded knowledge builds the Assistant's answer space. It should not be treated as generic public model knowledge.

Grounded answers

Responses should be based on selected materials and can include citations so people can inspect where an answer came from.

Access control

Experts can decide who can access an Assistant, for how long, and with how many AI answers.

Boundaries

High-risk topics need a stricter posture

SonaMinds is useful for explanation, navigation, preparation, and low-risk knowledge support. It should not be packaged as a replacement for formal regulated professional services.

Appropriate first-layer uses

  • Explaining uploaded course or service materials.
  • Guiding users to relevant documents or next steps.
  • Preparing questions before a human consultation.
  • Answering low-risk product or onboarding questions.

Needs human escalation

  • Final professional advice.
  • Urgent health, safety, legal, or financial decisions.
  • Customer complaints that require accountability.
  • Any situation where the source boundary has not been approved.

Data lifecycle

Deletion should mean the knowledge stops being used

When an expert deletes a knowledge document, that document should no longer participate in retrieval. Source files, indexed chunks, plan usage, and audit records should be treated as a lifecycle.

Process knowledge into searchable chunks for grounded question answering.

Use

Answer questions with source-aware retrieval, quota checks, and usage records.

Stop deleted documents from being retrieved and remove them from active usage counts.

Does SonaMinds guarantee every answer is fully accurate?

No. SonaMinds reduces error risk through knowledge sources, citations, and access boundaries, but AI answers still require human review, especially in legal, medical, financial, safety, and other high-impact contexts.

Should users upload sensitive customer data?

Not by default. Unless you have the necessary authority and an appropriate written agreement with SonaMinds, you should not upload sensitive customer data, regulated records, or materials that require strict handling.

Who is responsible for professional judgment?

The expert, educator, or business remains responsible for final judgment. SonaMinds is a knowledge access and assisted-answering tool. It does not replace licensed professional advice, human review, or business decisions.
